AfroLatinidad Vibras de la Diaspora

FRI. 7/8 5:30 PM. Free.

La Doña Cerveceria will host an evening of dance, art, culture, and more in celebration of Afro-Latinx both local and across the world. The third annual AfroLatinidad: Vibras de la Diaspora will draw attention to the history, presence and culture of Afro-Latinx in Minnesota. Music for the night will be performed by Bembé Drum & Dance’s artist in residence, Beto Torrens, whose decades-long career has led to him play with numerous musicians, including Elvis Crespo on his Grammy-nominated album “Urbano.” Other musicians and dancers associated with the Borikén Cultural Center will perform alongside him.
