It’s your last chance to catch one of the Surly Grrly residency at Mortimer’s! The queerpunk protest band is a riot grrrl revival with unapologetic, feminist lyrics that make you want to scream them at those who’ve wronged you—as well as addictive guitar lines and drum beats. Their residency has featured tons of changemaking artists, and this show is no different. Poppy-punk TIMISAROCKER starts the night off, followed by atmospheric surf-rock band Black Widows. After Surly Grrly, Mort’s House Band plays the night out.
