Many of the songs of Perfume Genius–from Seattle-based Mike Hadreas–are sit-by-yourself-and-think songs, with detailed lyrics and emotion-extracting chords. But his vastly ranging style includes delightfully dance-y, pop-y tunes as well, and his recent album Set My Heart on Fire Immediately (which he transformed into a remix album the following year) provides both. His latest album builds on his repertoire of songs celebrating the queer body, a powerful subject that has earned recognition across genres and across media (think tracks in Booksmart and collaborations with pop diva Charli XCX). The performance at the Fine Line is likely to be a rare small-room show. WEDS, 8:30 PM. $30-45.
