Midwest emo is making a comeback (but did it ever really leave?) Indie rapper OKNice is headlining at 7th Street Avenue following the release of his latest album Have You Tried Being Happy? Listeners accompany the Twin Cities-based rapper on his journey to finding out what happiness is in a capitalist society. It nestles in perfectly with the rest of OKNice’s music filled with “words for those who see the world as it is but have hope for what it could be.” Special guests include Love, Ulysses—who’s featured on the album—Lazenlow, Yare, and Zen Is In.
