Vile’s latest album, Bottle It In, is a meditative collection, meandering from the nearly 10-minute Bassackwards to the wryly optimistic Rollin with the Flow. Vile is a veteran of the Mainroom and can be undemonstrative when he plays on stage; he’s sparing in conversation and graces the audience with only occasional acknowledgment. But this can make live shows feel intimate. Vile is first and foremost playing music, and performance is an accidental outcome. The psychedelic sounds of Natural Information Society start the night off. WEDS. 8 PM. $30 adv, $32 door.
