The PlayLabs festival, an annual theatrical jam session where playwrights can test their newest material, returns for its 38th year. In addition to three new plays, which will be recorded in advance and offered digitally for a limited time to registrants, the playwrights will host a live, in-person panel to discuss their work. Earlier in the day (3 p.m.), the Fellows’ Showcase (another digital event) will offer a slew of scenes from works-in-progress from the Playwrights’ Center’s various programs. Sign up for the live panel or see the rest of the festival’s lineup. All events are free but require registration. FRI, 7 PM. Free.
