Sabateour

The Hitchcock festival murders on! Framed for starting a fire at an aircraft factory during World War II, Barry Kane (Robert Cummings) must go on the run, and then prove his innocence. Hitchhiking, hiding in the Mojave Desert, and even taking his lumps in a traveling circus, Kane is determined to track down and reveal the true culprit, a man named Fry (Norman Lloyd), whose next target is blowing up the Boulder Dam. Hitchcock takes viewers on a breathtaking ride across the country, and at the same time subtly skewers authority and patriotism. Presented by The Heights and The Trylon Cinema. THURS, 7:30 PM. $12.
