“Uptown is dead!” commentators love to scream ahead of 300 artists, food vendors, activities, and demonstrations packing the intersection of Lake and Hennepin for three full days. The festival assembles artists from all over the state and region, with everything from visual art (find Bryan Holland from St. Peter’s booth) to beautiful ceramics (Caroline Freese from IA creates incredible kitchenware and more) to intricate wood carving (be sure to seek out Anna Bailey’s bold modern patterns), and sets it alongside great local venues like Magers & Quinn, the Granada, and more.
