Long a staple of the summer, The Hook & Ladder’s annual fundraiser also serves as one of the most fun weekends of live music throughout the year—and it’s only gotten better as it’s moved ‘Under the Canopy’ with The Hook’s regular outdoor tent set-up. The list of this year’s musical guests is long and strong, featuring punks Ultrabomb (with none other than hometown hero Greg Norton of Hüsker Dü in the new trio), the returning gritty blues duo Left Lane Cruiser, big band-ish rockers The Mood Swings, legacy bluesman Kent Burnside and many more. Although these musical genres are often considered niche, RR&DB offers a great curated mix of many styles, offering something for any music lover. Importantly, that same blend applies to the food trucks and beverages you’ll need throughout the weekend.
