Hook and Ladder Theater is hosting a Cinco de Mayo/anniversary celebration for your fav volunteer-run radio station KFAI! Javier Trejo y Caballo Cosmico take the stage, pioneering a Mexican-Americana fusion of musical genres inspired by Trejo’s history as an immigrant born south of the border and raised way up here in the North. DJ Miguel Vargas will warm up the crowd as they enter starting at 6 p.m., and Caballo Cosmico starts at 7 p.m.. Entry is free, but only open to those who register in advance, and the show will be recorded for rebroadcast as part of KFAI’s “Live From Minnesota” series. WEDS, 7 PM. Free.
